Rebecca is a designer from Montreal currently living and working in Toronto, Canada. Before returning to school for graphic design, she worked as a stylist, producer and art director in commercial photography. Her academic resume includes a Diploma in Social Sciences, a Bachelor of Commerce with a minor in Spanish, and various independent studies on subjects ranging from Hispanic literature and media studies to political science. She received her graphic design education from Concordia University (Montreal), OCAD University (Toronto), and Universität der Künste (Berlin). She graduated from OCAD in the spring of 2020 with distinction, and was awarded the Governor General’s Silver Medal for highest academic achievement at the undergraduate level. Rebecca is interested in languages, art, urbanism, literature, wine, cinema and experimental publishing. Her current practice uses graphic design to explore questions about culture, commerce, archives and authorship.
